Sam Gregson is a physicist at the University of Cambridge and the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland. He looks at some scientists who have succeeded in capturing the public imagination, and some who’ve remained fairly unknown, to look at how we might make science more engaging for a wider audience.
