by Helena Stromgren on November 1, 2010

Historian and diplomat Joseph Nye  is an American political scientist and former Dean of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

In the speech below filmed as a TED Talk in July 2010, Joseph Nye offers sharp insights into the way nations take and cede power and he gives us a fascinating view of the shifts in power between China

and the US, and the global implications as economic, political and “soft” power shifts and moves around the globe.
